our story started 30 years ago
Since 1996, Campbells Fertilisers Australasia has worked alongside growers to push crops, soils and businesses further through smart, specialty nutrition.
From the first pallets leaving Laverton North to a national footprint across Australia and New Zealand, Campbells has grown to become the leading force for the distribution and sales of imported horticultural specialty fertilisers in the Southern Hemisphere.
Campbells delivers premium plant nutrition solutions tailored to crops, soils and regions, including compounds, soluble solids, liquids, trace elements and biostimulants. Our approach is practical and outcomes-driven, supported by expert agronomy and on-farm technical advice.
Part of the Muir family legacy, Campbells operates within a fourth-generation agribusiness. We continue to build long-term relationships with growers, providing experience-led advice across every stage of growth. On 13 September 2026, we mark 30 years of Campbells — Grounded in Nutrition.

Bruce Scott
Part of the Story Since Day One
Bruce Scott has been part of the Campbells story from the very beginning, even before Campbells was officially founded. Known to many as “Scotty”, he started his career as an Extension Officer with the Victorian Department of Agriculture, working closely with fruit and vegetable industries at the Knoxfield Research Institute.
Bruce joined Muirs in 1990 as a Plant Nutrition and Fertiliser Specialist and has held a national role with Campbells since its inception in 1996. Over that time, he’s built strong, lasting relationships with growers, agronomists and researchers across Australia.
Today, as National Nutrition Agronomist, Bruce is known for his genuine curiosity and hands-on approach in the field. His experience reflects the depth of knowledge within the Campbells team and a long-standing commitment to helping growers get the best from their crops.
