Campbells Solu-Cop is particularly important for peak demand periods for Copper. Copper is essential for chlorophyll formation, photosynthesis, enzyme activation, and the production of lignin for cell wall strength. Also used to prevent Copper deficiencies – often appears as wilting or dieback of new growth, pale yellow leaves, and reduced flowering or fruit set.
Campbells Solu-Cop is suitable for application via irrigation systems, including hydroponics. It dissolves rapidly and remains in solution ready for uptake via the roots.
Best applied to sandy soils, highly organic soils, or alkaline soils where Copper availability is naturally low.
Timing of applications are suitable at any time during the season, however Copper deficiency is most common in sandy soils, peaty soils, and soils with high organic matter or high pH, where Copper becomes strongly bound and unavailable. Applying Solu-Cop in a soluble form through fertigation ensures Copper is delivered directly to the root zone in an immediately available form
